Ownest: Property Manager ("the App") is a real estate portfolio management application developed by Erez Cohen, operating under E-REZULTS ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the App on iPhone or iPad.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Email address — used for authentication and account recovery
- Full name — used for account identification
- Authentication tokens — for secure session management
2.2 Property & Financial Data
- Property details (address, name, purchase price, purchase date, status)
- Financial transactions (income, expenses, amounts, dates, categories)
- Tenant information (names, lease dates, contact details you enter)
- Lease periods and rent amounts
- Vacancy records
- Property documents and images you upload
- Portfolio groupings and preferences
- Custom expense categories you create
- Recurring transaction schedules
2.3 Usage Data
- App version and build number
- Language and currency preferences
- Error logs (no personal financial data included)
2.4 AI-Processed Data (Optional Feature)
If you use the AI receipt/document import feature, images or PDF files you select are sent to Google Gemini AI for text extraction. Only the content you explicitly submit is processed; extracted data is returned to you for review before saving.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the App's property management features
- To authenticate you and maintain your session securely
- To generate financial reports and summaries from your data
- To deliver over-the-air app updates (JS bundle updates via Expo)
- To respond to support requests
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enforced on every table — only you can access your own data. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Property images and documents are stored in Supabase Storage with signed URLs that expire after a short window.
5. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (supabase.com/privacy)
- Expo / EAS Updates — over-the-air JS bundle delivery (expo.dev/privacy)
- Google Gemini AI — optional AI document parsing (only when you use the import feature) (policies.google.com/privacy)
- Apple App Store — app distribution (apple.com/privacy)
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records (properties, transactions, tenants) within the App. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@erezults.com.
7. Children's Privacy
Ownest is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@erezults.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
