1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Ownest: Property Manager ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Ownest is a mobile application for iPhone and iPad that helps real estate investors and landlords manage their property portfolios. The App provides:
- Property portfolio tracking (active and sold properties)
- Income and expense transaction management
- Tenant and lease period management
- Financial reports including profit/loss, tax summaries, and comparisons
- AI-powered document and receipt import
- Multi-portfolio and multi-currency support
3. User Accounts
You must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Attempt to access another user's data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Upload malicious content or files designed to harm the service
- Use the App to store data that violates third-party rights
5. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the App (properties, transactions, documents, tenant information). We do not claim any rights to your data. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the App's functionality.
6. Financial Information Disclaimer
Ownest is a personal finance organization tool. The reports and summaries it generates are based solely on data you enter. The App does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional for tax filings and legal matters.
7. AI Features
The AI document import feature uses Google Gemini to extract text from receipts and PDFs. Extracted data is presented to you for review before saving. AI extraction may contain errors — always verify AI-extracted information before saving. We are not liable for errors in AI-extracted data.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for losses resulting from service unavailability.
9. Subscription and Pricing
Ownest is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce subscription plans in the future, with advance notice to existing users.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by E-REZULTS (Erez Cohen). You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, E-REZULTS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
12. Termination
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@erezults.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles.
